الْمَلِكُ
The King and Owner of Dominion

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh .
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ .
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you
قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَـٰلِكَ ٱلْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى ٱلْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
Qulil laahumma Maalikal Mulki tu’til mulka man tashaaa’u wa tanzi’ul mulka mimman tashhaaa’u wa tu’izzu man tashaaa’u wa tuzillu man tashaaa’u biyadikal khairu innaka ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
English Translation:-
“Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honor whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You can do all things.”— (Qur’an ) 3:26 “

Allah calls Himself Al-Maalik— The King and Owner of Dominion— on five occasions in the Quran. He is the King, the owner, and the ruler of the whole creation. Al-Malik gives authority to whomever He wants in this world, and He has supreme authority and is ruled by no one!
He does not need His kingdom, His kingdom needs Him. He rules by himself; he does not need any help to rule. he has created the universe as a workplace for His creation, and He has created the day of judgment as a great court of justice.
In conclusion, the name Al-Maliku is a powerful and meaningful one in Islam. It is a reminder of Allah’s ultimate authority and control over all things, and the comfort and security that this brings believers. It encourages obedience and submission to Allah and reinforces the idea that He is the only true ruler and that all earthly rulers are merely His representatives.
