The Battle of Badr was fought on the 17th day of Ramadan in the second year of Hijri. It was a decisive battle between the Muslims of Medina and the pagan Arabs of Mecca. Despite being outnumbered, the Muslims were victorious, and this battle marked a turning point in the history of Islam. The Battle of Badr is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Anfal, verse 41, where Allah says, “And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people might abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things so that you might be grateful.”
